8 year old John Schwake’s first buck he took on private property near Sublime Texas. He took it with a well placed shot from Rem .243.

Fish was caught using a live Boston mackerel. Rod and Reel were 80 class size internationals with 200lb braided line on stand up gear (yes stand up!). Drags were set from 30lb on the run off to 45 and near 60lbs of drag after 25 minutes. Battle took one hour to land this fish which weighed in at 814lbs! One other tuna was caught the day prior by the team that was approximately 650-700lbs.

Aimee Davis’ two boys: Anson-6 on the left and Brayton- 8 on the right, went out with their dad and a couple “uncles” on Labor Day evening. This hunt was in Brazos county with 25 birds.
