Sean Aguirre, 18, of Purdue University, was fishing with his dad, George of Los Fresnos, and brother Adam when he pulled out a beautiful 26in Red. He caught the Red on a red and white Norton Bull Minnow while drifting close to Green Island out of Arroyo City. He only gets to fish the Laguna Madre a few days out of the year, and definitely made the most out of this trip!

Danny Miles, caught the pending lake record Blue Cat at Lake Tawakoni on rod and reel.

Danny Gracia from Harlingen, Texas harvested these reds and speckled trout with a friend while fishing the shallow waters of the Lower Laguna Madre. All were landed while sight casting with artificial bait.
