My name is Lauren Fite and I caught a 4-1/2 foot 70lb black drum on a 7-ft Uglystick with 30-lb PowerPro line. Were trying to fish for trout with live shrimp until he showed up! Took me 45 min to get him in after I thought he would spool me. I put him back in the water and he swam away safely. Thank you PowerPro and my Ugly stick or this would have never happened!

Carter caught his first keeper trout while visiting his Grandma at Tiki Island near Galveston.

While fishing with friends on the South Bay, Kenny (age 9) caught this 21″ black drum as the sun was setting.

Charley caught this 23″ flounder while fishing with her Mom and Poppy in the gulf.

Collin Young caught this nice 5lbs 2oz Flounder and Speck while fishing with his buddy, Colton, Dadand Mom. Too bad this flounder didn’t weigh-in a little heavier; it just missed being on the 2012 STAR Kids leader board.

Nick Mefferd, age 13, caught this bull Redfish while fishing the jetties in Port Aransas, Texas during his week at Outdoor Texas Saltwater Fishing Camp.
