Bombs Away, with Fish Bomb Fish Attractant!

If you groove on the smell of fresh ground chum, enjoy the odor of bunker oil, and yearn to inhale the fantastic fragrance of all things fishy – while attracting apex predators to your hook – then Fish Bomb is for you. This is one of those product introductions that we outdoors writers live for; what could be cooler than a pocket-sized can that blasts out a pressurized cloud of fish oil?!?

The guys that came up with the Buck Bomb are not only hunters, they’re anglers, too. And their new Fish Bomb is exactly what you’d expect. Bunker oil is crammed into a five-ounce aerosol, with a button that can be partially depressed to send out a spurt of greasy goodness, or completely depressed to create a pheremone explosion. Just don’t remove the safety seal and then get in your truck – an accidental deployment could be tragic.

This stuff is brand-spanking-new, so I haven’t had the chance to field test it just yet (stay tuned, I’ll report back soon) but I set off a can in the back yard to see how it worked. The smell was bunker-licious, and I expect my wife to let me back into the house sooner or later. The mad bombers tell me that this stuff works great when you spray it on your trolling lures, or lower it into the water and create a massive slick (one can will disburse into a slick the size of a football-field) to troll through. I can’t wait to try these tactics, though I wonder if it’ll prove to be even more valuable for taming mutinous crew-members. It goes for $10 a can; check it out at www.fishbomb.com.
