Rainbow Trout, Broken Bow, OK (video)

I have a lot of hours on the Lower Mt Fork River over the years. If you didn’t know, The Lower Mt Fork River is in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

It’s about 1 hour North of Paris, Texas. This river is almost a Mini Montana with rolling mountains and hills full of deer and lots of other wildlife. But the neat thing is, they stock about 4200 Rainbow and Brown Trout every other Thursday all year long! Sometimes they put in the monsters, and sometimes they put in the dinks. But there are always 20 plus inch fish to catch all year long. I have matched the hatch to a “T” with a crawfish imatation I have tweeked. Every rock you turn over all year, will have a crawdad under it. So throw what they are eating most! This fly could change your whole outlook on fishing this river or one near you.
