While out surveying the north end of Sabine Lake for fish kills during the freeze I came across an apalling site. Someone had dumped a pile of filleted bulll redfish carcasses on the water’s edge.
I don’t know how many there were but there were quite a few. I wince at killing any of these big breeder reds but if somone wants to use their trophy tag, more power to em. However, I have a feeling these fish were caught, cleaned and chunked quickly on the side of the road.
They didn’t even have the courtesy to put them in the water.
