This afternoon I went out for some cold front bass fishing with my buddy Todd Jurasek.
We fished a private pond near my home and despite less than favorable conditions caught about a dozen fish on free-lined black salties and Rat-L-Traps (tilapia pattern).
It is always a joy to fish for largemouths on ponds and even better when you do so with a good friend.
Todd’s big fish bit late and doubled over the medium-light American Rodsmiths casting rod.
