My good friend Bowhunting Editor Lou Marullo schooled me on how to walk to our bowstands when we first met.
He said after years of hunting on public land and in heavily pressured areas, he observed humans sound..well..like humans walking into the woods. If we vary our gait up a bit it can make a big difference in fooling wary whitetails, especially wise, old bucks.
