This one is a little different. My wife Lisa and I took a trip to Nevada in 2005 and we drove way out into the desert one day. This is a shot of me pointing to Groom Lake Road which leads to the (not so) secret base known as Area 51. We went down as far as signs would allow and dare not trespass.
Notice the customized cattle at large sign? They were all over this highway.
Funny, huh?

Chester, I am hoping you can give me a recommendation. On our annual family vacations, the guys ONLY like to fish, but the ladies require some proximity to shopping or entertainment. My father-in-law loves to fish for catfish, and he prefers to have a bank or boat dock to fish from. That narrows things a bit. I am hoping you can tell me the top 5 (or so) lakes for catching good numbers of decent size catfish in the summer–late July or early August?? We do not mind going out of state, but like to keep it within about 700 miles of Houston. We are already planning next year’s vacation. Thanks in advance.
Lake Livingston, Choke Canyon, Toledo Bend (Holly Park a good area), Lewisville, Bob Sandlin.
