Does anyone remember Mutual of Omaha’s “Wild Kingdom” with Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler?
This show had a HUGE impact on me growing up. I posted something about it on Facebook and people went wild with remembrances. I thank the Lord for programs like this that helped inspire to take the career path I have been on for the last 20 years.
Indeed, I do remember “Wild Kingdom”. Who could forget lines like, “While Jim gives an enema to the berserk, 600-pound, man-eating gorilla, I am 5 miles away, safe in an air-conditioned blind, whipping up a batch of banana daquiris.”?
