The “Do It in Orange Fishing Classic” takes place in Orange May 19-20. It will offer $20,000 in guaranteed cash for anglers seeking speckled trout, redfish and largemouth bass.
There will be a first place purse of $2,000 for each category with second paying $1,000 and third $800. All three categories pay out to 10th place. The entry fee is $100 per team (up to two anglers).
The tournament will be artificial only with the exception of pork rinds and liquid bait attractants. There will be no private water or pond fishing allowed and the lakes (Toledo Bend, Sam Rayburn, Dam B, etc.) are off limits. In addition, no full time guides are allowed and anglers cannot hire a guide for the tournament.
