Fellow bass anglers, here’s something for you.
Which lake in Texas is next for being red hot for HUGE bass in the next 1-3 years?
I have two in mind: Lake Fork and Sam Rayburn.
Fork may seem obvious but it has taken a nosedive in terms of MONSTER bass product, however there has been a change for the positive. The lake hit record low levels and is now getting back on track. When lakes get so low you have what is called the “new lake effect” occur and bass fishing goes crazy.
That is why lakes like O.H. Ivie, Alan Henry and Choke Canyon get so good for big bass every few years. Fork has never been this slow since it filled and I think we will see some stunning catches.
The last time Rayburn got anywhere near this low as in the late 1990s and it produced many, may big fish in the coming years. In fact, it still ranks as number 3 all-time producer of Toyota Sharelunkers.
What are your picks?
