Come check out my latest lecture: Mysterious Howls: The Surprising Story of Wolves in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana
It will be held at Shangri-La Botanical Gardens Discovery Theater 7 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 25. The event is free but seating is limited. Call 670-9799 to RSVP and do so quickly. All of my events there have “sold out”.
This is is from the Shangri-La website…
Award-winning outdoors communicator Chester Moore wrote his very first published article on wolves in Orange County in 1992 and now has new information to share that will thrill people with an interest in wolves.
“The history of wolves in our area is fascinating but the present is what is really mind-blowing. New data sheds light on wolf sightings in Texas and shows that not everything that is howling out there is a coyote or domestic dog,” Moore said.
Moore will have numerous game camera photos, a brand new video and a bunch of other interesting things to present to the crowd.
“It is an honor to speak again at Shangri La. It is always such a pleasure talking with wildlife lovers so I these kinds of engagements are always fun for me.”

Many in east Texas, McFaddin Refuge and La Belle area.
I actually saw a wolf in that area when I was around nine years old.
