While searching my photo archives, I came across this cool shot of a super angry cottonmouth.
The black and white effect seems to enhance the intensity of this snake that was not at all happy about me photographing it.
An interesting fact about cottonmouths is they are one of the few snakes that will eat carrion. They are drawn to dead fish around bait camps and have even been observed eating roadkill.
