Jalacado Sauce

This is a recipe I created on a Sunday afternoon while frying up some fresh fish. I love the flavor of Guacamole  with my Mexican seafood dishes, so I decided to try adding some fresh avocado to a batch of Jalapeno Tarter sauce, well it came out fantastic! I hope you will keep it and try it out the next time you are having a fish fry. It goes well with shrimp too!

(serves 3 to 4  people, feel free to double or triple the recipe as needed)

1- cup mayo

½ fresh and ripe avocado, mashed

1/3 cup- freshly chopped green or purple onion

1 fresh jalapeno, stemmed, seeded, and diced, (pickled peppers can be used if preferred, it gives the sauce  a more tart flavor)

Juice of ½ lemon

1 tablespoon-Texas Gourmet’s Sidewinder Searing Spice

Combine all of the ingredients, then refrigerate for an hour or more to combine the flavors, serve chilled!

Bon appétit,
